The Epson SC‑P9300 STD is a 44‑inch wide‑format inkjet printer designed for professional photographers, fine artists and print service providers requiring gallery-quality output at larger sizes. Built on Epson’s advanced PrecisionCore MicroTFP platform, it offers high-speed printing with sharp detail and smooth tonal transitions across a wide range of media.
Using a PrecisionCore MicroTFP 10‑channel printhead and UltraChrome PRO10 pigment inks with Violet the Epson SureColor SC-P9300 STD prints up to 2,400 × 1,200 dpi and supports media up to 44″ wide and 1.5 mm thick, with USB 3.0, Ethernet and a 4.3″ touchscreen.
Using the 10‑colour UltraChrome PRO10 pigment ink set with dedicated Photo Black and Matte Black channels, this model ensures deep blacks, accurate skin tones and an expanded colour gamut. The inclusion of Violet ink allows the SC‑P9300 STD to reproduce up to 99% of the Pantone® Solid Coated colour range, making it an excellent choice for colour-critical work.
A key advantage of the SC‑P9300 STD is its ability to deliver consistent results with minimal intervention. Epson’s carbon black driver technology improves Dmax performance on glossy papers, while the optional Black Enhance Overcoat (BEO) further boosts image depth and definition. Its robust build and intuitive 4.3″ touchscreen interface are well suited for busy studio or production environments where output speed and reliability are paramount.
The printer supports roll and sheet media up to 1.5 mm thick, loaded via a spindle-less adapter system. An optional 320GB encrypted SSD provides secure local storage of print jobs and production data, ideal for shared access in multi-user print studios.
The SC‑P9300 STD does not include a built-in spectrophotometer but is fully compatible with third-party calibration and profiling tools. For users who require automated profiling and proofing, the SC‑P9300 SPECTRO model is available.
