A.D.T.
Support
|
When Autodesk®
released A.D.T 3.3 the ease of sharing design information among
entire project teams was widely promoted.
With the release
of CADsign V.2.1, A.D.T 3.3 users can for the first time embed secure
digital signatures in to their designs with the peace of mind that
if their design content is altered, the signatures are removed.
Thus instantly improving drawing integrity while meeting with Autodesks®
philosophy of improving project collaboration. |

Checksum
Indicator
Based upon
customer feedback we have added a Checksum Security Level Indicator.
This benefits
users as they can now choose the AutoCAD functions that they feel
the Checksum should run on, thereby optimising CAD-signs performance.

Siemens Biometric Support
CADsign now supports
the latest FingerTIP biometric technology from Siemens.
This enables CADsign
users to choose whether to use a biometric ID Mouse or Cherry Keyboard.
Both devices can also be used to provide a secure Network or Windows
login.
 |
 |
The
Siemens two button ID Mouse has a finger scanning chip based be-low
the mouse wheel. This improves the ease of use for both left and right
handed users. |
|
 |
 |
The
Cherry keyboard has integrated the Siemens FingerTIP Technology
with the finger scanning chip mounted high on the right hand side.
This device is ideal for designers who do not want to change their
pointing device. |
|
And
the Winner Is.....
CADsign has
been nominated in the Best Biometric Product Category by Secure
Computing Magazine. The nominees under this category are judged
by Academy members who are IT professionals working in corporate
organisations. They understand the scale of the problems faced by
large organisations and recognise the potential for major disasters
arising from security breaches. This understanding allows them to
make informed judgements on which security solutions best suit the
needs of corporate organisations.

Secure
Digital Signatures in Microsoft Word
We are currently
working to embed our Secure Biometric Technology in to Microsoft
Word allowing users to embed digital signatures in to their documents.
Good progress
has already been made, although the application is in the Research
and Development stage.
The release
date for this application has not yet been announced, however we
are very keen to supply Business Partners with beta versions at
the earliest opportunity.
We will keep
you updated on our progress. |

FILEsign
FILEsign gives
users the capability of selecting files of various types and grouping
them in to a batch. This data package can be securely signed off
or approved using the Siemens FingerTIP biometric technology
or a traditional password.
The benefit
of FILEsign is that organisations can group all project related
data (Legal Documents, CAD Drawings, Project Plans etc) and securely
sign-off all the correspondence in one go. This data package can
then be stored for archival purposes |

Secure
Biometric Signature API
For those resellers
involved in the Engineering Document Management marke places Document
Flow are pleased to announce that we have now produced an API that facilitates
CADsign integrating with Cycos AM Meridian product.
This API uses the
CADsign Enrolment database and digital signature capture software to give
a range of functional opportunities. These could include:
- Automatic Digital
signature retrieval from the database, which could be inserted into
AutoCAD drawings, potentially without having AutoCAD resident.
- Secure file transfer,
within the Meridian session, from work-area to work-area or state to
state using biometric finger scanning technology for ultimate security.
- Secure biometric
logon to Meridian using Siemens Biometric logon capabilities.
And many more possibilities
