Keyboard: However, you can of course plug any USB keyboard in if you need to write text of any serious length. Still, while you obviously need the ability to input text, the huge advantage that the Tablet PC holds over its mouse-driven alternatives is that you can design with a pen. Sketching with a pen is a very natural process so its ideal for use with Autodesk's Architectural Studio. Of course the other advantage is that you are able to use the Tablet PC standing up - out on site, on the shop floor etc. |

| Handwriting recognition: Complete with Microsoft handwriting recognition technology - the OS recognises a large variety of handwriting styles, you don't have to convert all your handwriting into text and you can simply (and very easily) redline or mark up drawings, or record handwritten notes using Microsoft Journal (these can always be converted into text later). |
