HP have launched three new devices for the Graphics, Fine Art and Photographic markets.
The HP Designjet Z6 and Z9+ Postscript Series have the same architecture but the Z9+ is aimed at higher colour gammuts with 9 rather than the 6 ink system featured in the Z6. Both printers thanks to unique Dual droplet technology no longer require Lighter colour shades such as Light Magenta or Light Cyan without compromising on quality but significantly increasing speed. to further enhance quality an optional Gloss enhancer is available for the Z9.
Additional functionality is gained within the 44-in Dual roll models of both the Designjet Z6 and Designjet Z9 which feature for the first time a V-Trimmer offering cut to width edge to edge borderless output, resulting in a much greater choice of widths than standard media roll widths.
