HP Designjet T830 MFP REVIEW - All-in-one wide-format F9A30A – 3 February 2016

HP's NEW Designjet T830 brings not only increased functionality to your workflow but also a stylish look with clean lines which belies the abilities of this new entry level MFP.

HP's newest wide-format MFP brings a new benchmark to wide-format copying, plotting and scanning to the Construction industry.

This excellent entry level device from HP offers users a low cost option if they do not wish to invest in an HP Designjet T2530 or T3500 MFP's both of which offer the advantage of six colour, larger ink units and media rolls as well as batch printing via the optional postscript. The T830 however, is still at least half the price & therefore some of the benefits for low volume users will be outweighed by the price tag of the T830 which still offers effective copying and printing as well as scanning.

Ideal for small design teams or project offices and indeed on site use you users will be able to print a wide-format construction drawing, copy a hard copy legacy drawing or scan it for electronic use - all this in full colour or low cost black and white.

Aimed at smaller volumes the HP Designjet T830 features a 50 mtr roll feed compared to 91mtr (up to 110 mtr) on the other models and smaller inks that will ultimately cost more per ML - but this will be marginal if your volumes are low where this unit is pitched.

For construction site use HP are offering a Rugged case with chunky wheels and hard sides, pop the lid and you machine is ready for use - ideal if you need to move between sites frequently.
