Document Management - CADsign

The traditional method of working is to plot the file using a plotter, sign the hard copy and store the document in a plan chest.

Using a hybrid device you can plot documents in bulk, all signed using Cadsign software. Cadsign produces a digital master of the document which can be copied in bulk whilst ensuring that no unauthorised changes have been made.

CADsign is a new product which is designed to allow you to embed a digital signature into an AutoCAD 2000 and above drawing. One of the biggest issues surrounding the sharing of information is drawing security. Your documents are unique to you and should remain your property. CADsign provides the answer, secure biometric document sign off via thumb print scan stations. The system provides a complete answer to retaining the integrity of electronic files and speeding up the sign off process.

The process begins by enrolling onto the system with your signature and thumbprint as an authentication as to who you are.

When you want to authorise a drawing you simply select the box on the drawing where you want your signature to appear and then scan your thumb using the biometric mouse. Your digital signature will then be embedded into the AutoCAD file.
